Ingredients

170 grsSugar
110 grsButter (unsalted)
1 pinchVanilla extract
1Egg
200 grsFlour (all-purpose)
1 teaspoonBaking powder
100 grsChocolate chips

Instructions

Gather all ingredients. Make sure you have all the ingredients measured out and ready to go before you start cooking. This will help to ensure a smooth and efficient cooking process.

Cream the butter. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter until light and fluffy.

Gradually add sugar. Slowly add the granulated sugar to the creamed butter, beating constantly until the mixture is light and airy.

Incorporate vanilla extract. Add the vanilla extract to the sugar and butter mixture and beat until well combined.

Beat in the egg. Add the egg to the mixture and beat until fully incorporated.

Add baking powder.

Gradually add flour. Slowly add the all-purpose flour to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Stir in chocolate chips. Fold in the chocolate chips evenly throughout the dough.

Shape the cookies. Use a tablespoon or your hands to scoop out rounded portions of dough and roll them into balls. Place the balls of dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving about 2 inches of space between each cookie.

Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20 minutes. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the edges of the cookies are golden brown and the centres are slightly soft.

Let the cookies cool. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Enjoy.

Enjoy.
